And I’m sorry to whichever man should meet my sorry state,
Watch my steady, lonesome gait and be aware,
I will never love a man ‘cause love and pain go hand in hand,
And I can’t do it,
Again.
i posted this yesterday then today this cute boy held my hand and now he is sending me memes
Reblog for love
Can we just… normalize teens loving their parents? Like obviously you’re not obligated to if your parents are shitty, but damn, I love my mom. She’s there for me all the time and sure we have rough patches but honestly she’s the greatest. Like. We need teens to know that they don’t have to hate their parents just cause.
Things I never knew about depression until I finally had a doctor explain the disease to me
Depression can manifest as irrational anger.
My complete and total inability to keep anything clean or tidy for any amount of time is a symptom of my depression. I may never be able to do this. It’s important that I remember that and forgive myself when I clean something out (like my car) and it ends up trashed within a week.
Depression IS A DISABILITY. Requiring accommodations is okay.
Medications don’t make you better, they don’t cure your depression. They serve as an aid. Their purpose is to help you get to everyone else’s minimal level of functioning.
Depression can cycle through periods of inactivity. This doesn’t mean it’s gone away.
The reason I don’t feel like other people understand me is because … well … other people DON’T understand me. They can’t. They don’t have my disability.
Paranoia is par for the course.
Depression can and will interfere with your physical mobility. Forgive yourself when you can’t physically do something.
It’s entirely possible that I may never be able to live by myself. I can’t take care of myself. I need help to do it. And that’s okay.As someone who suffers from depression and who experiences all these things as well I think this is important and needs to be reblogged.
Depression is a very difficult thing, not only for people who suffer from it, but for everyone who knows a depressed person. My family doesn’t know how to deal with it, my friends try their very best to support me and I have tried to pretend I was fine until I was in ninth grade.
Reblog if you think having depression and anxiety is valid.
I have a point to prove.
For everyone that reblogs this, your URL will be written in a notebook and given to my psychology teacher, who believes that depression is a choice.
You have until June 1, 2016.
little things that help ease symptoms of depression:
- turn the lights on and open a window
- eat something healthy and drink ice cold water
- find a comforting album to listen to whenever things get bad
- take a long, relaxing bath
- do yourself up in full make up and hair
- be around people, even if you don’t think it will help
- watch something funny on netflix
- wear your favorite/most comfortable outfit
- immerse yourself in a hobby like drawing
- lose yourself in a really good book or movie
You can be depressed and not feel sad or blue. Depression can also be a haze of sleepiness, distractedness/obsessiveness cycles, and a twinge of irritability that can be hard to recognize because you might already be a “fiery” person. It can feel like a lazy Sunday that keeps imposing itself for weeks or months.
Can we just… I’ll leave this here.
Don't ever hesitate. Reblog this. TUMBLR RULE. When you see it, REBLOG IT.

Dont be afraid to be a cliche. Go for long walks on the beach. Buy heart shaped chocolates for Valentine’s Day. Stay up late and theorize about aliens. If you think it’s sweet, do it. cliches exist for a reason.
